I'm now at a complete loss. I tried a whole slew of different combinations and nothing worked. Here is the break down for the last one I tried which I can't figure out why is not working:

- brought Adobe illustrator made vector image into 1440x1080 photoshop file
- rasterized image, saved as PNG
- placed PNG in motion file set to 1440x1080
- placed motion file in Final Cut Pro, sequence set to 1440x1080
- Sent to Compressor to create MPEG2
- MPEG2 imported into DVD Studio Pro

Final result still looks terribly pixelated.
I don't see why Final Cut Pro and Compressor would not have a proper codec to handle this request. So, I hope there is something I am still not seeing.
