Menu buttons / Menu won't work

I guess I should start off by saying - Newbie. My problem is, when I pop the burned disc it,
it just stays at the menu. The buttons aren't working. I have attached a picture showing that
I have only one button working now (to test it) - and it is set to play the first track.
When I simulate it works but not when I actually burn the disc. Ugh.
