cant select a button

hello!
Im a DVD SP beginner and am having a bit of trouble ironing out the kinks in a DVD that I have authored. The DVD has a single menu with four tracks. I have made four buttons on the main menu - each one linking to one of the four tracks. The dvd works more or less ok on my Mac, but as soon as I put it in the DVD player connected to my TV it acts flaky. Here's what happens: The main menu opens immediately - and one of the four buttons is lit up in yellow, which is the color i selected for when the button is activated. the dvd will play that track and then returns to the menu upon finishing - But beyond that - I cant get the remote control on the dvd player to select any of the other buttons. The player only seems to recognize the one button. But the weird part is that when i do a simulation in DVD SP - it works fine and the burned dvd works fine when i play it on my mac. but as soon as it goes in the player - it seems to have a mind of its own - and I cant select any of the other three buttons. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!!
thanks!
mandy
