DVD stutters and scrambles

Hi:

I created a DVD and it stutters, sometimes skips and image scrambles while playback.

It is a feature film of 93 mins length. The film was shot on RedOne and downgraded to ApplePro res 422 to FCP for the edit.

I sent from FCP to Compressor with Best Quality 90 mins and Dolby (Ac3) -- standard settings.

Then imported the m2v file and ac3 to DVD SP and authored with setting One pass at 4.0 Mbps. I also set the simple chapter markers in DVDSP.

There is only one track and one button - PLAY.

First time working with Apple ProRes 422 and on a longer film. How to make it the DVD play smoothly without losing too much quality?
