NTSC DVD is always 720x480, no way around that. You don't want Compressor to handle the letterbox settings, you want it to be 16:9 and then in DVDSP you set the track to be 16:9 Letterboxed and it will do what is stated above.

But Teneya, where/why did you get 1024x576 size for a video file?
