DVD formatted but can't play
by

I started a project the other day and at the end got a 0x0, device error.
I was advised that this was a corrupt dvd drive, I've since changed the drive and the media I'm trying to record to, to TDK dvd rw 4x
I opened up my projec and pressed burn.
DVDSpro did its thing and formatted the disk and ejected,
but it doesn't seem finished, it just seems to have copied the HDS folder over to the disk, but the disk won't play, I've tried completing it with toast and it says that the dvd is read only, yet this is a data and video disk.
Where have I gone wrong, is it the machine? software? or me? Please help, going slowly insane.
many thanks
