Hi Dave,
Try moving all your assets to another drive. ( in the assets tab crl. click and choose "reveal in finder" to locate each and every asset, and move ie copy them over to the new drive )
Duplicate your project file, re-link the project from that drive and do a "save as".
You may find one of your assets is in the wrong format, the simulator will play those regardless.
