Play All... with Two Menus
by Carl Sundermann on Mar 10, 2009 at 11:10:50 pm

Hi Everyone -

I've been following the manual on page 516 to figure out how to create a Play All Button. Works well, but I have one problem, now that I've added a 2nd menu to this project.

Menu 1 has a "Play Everything" button, which plays everything on the DVD. That sets the GPRM to 1. Menu 2, a submenu of Menu 1, has a "Play All" button that plays everything on only that menu by setting the GPRM to 2. What I don't know is what to do for that very last track that plays. I had it set as GPRM=1, jump to to Menu, first button and if GPRM=2, jump to Menu 2, first button, and if nothing was set, jump to Menu 2, last track (which would indicate the user pushed only the last track to play). This works... But... Because I'm not resetting the GPRM to 0 anywhere, whenever the user plays an individual file from then on, the GPRM is still set to 1 or 2, so it continues to act like the "Play All" was pressed, NOT returning to the menu.

I tried fixing this by setting a "Pre-Script" in the Advanced Tab of the menus that sets the GPRM to 0. But that wasn't working. I'm not sure why...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Carl Sundermann
