Audio Hits on AC3 file

I'm having problems with audio hits happening randomly throughout an AC3 file out of Compressor. I've tried doing it by dropping the FCP reference movie into compressor and then using a preset, then again by altering the preset to Preprocessing Compression Preset "none", then again by exporting an AIFF (which plays fine) file out of my FCP Project and running that through compressor with various settings - I'm still getting it. I've exported this project a dozen times before in various versions, but this is the first time this has happened. Anyone have any ideas? I'd really appreciate it.
