Thanks for your valued input

Just so I am 120% on track...

PAL DV = Lower Field First (though from what I have read this was a mistake)
PAL SD (Broadcast) = Upper Field First

Best to encode so both are Upper field First MPEG-2. Is that right?

NTSC DV and SD Broadcast = Lower Field First

Best to encode so it stays Lower Field First as an MPEG-2.

Sorry to keep thrashing a dead horse (as it were) but want to double sure I am getting this right!!!
