I have to agree with Eric 100% on this one. Compressor is a piece of junk. Replicated discs could have a number of compatibility issues that range from poorly encoded video (the spikes are a pain and most authoring apps will not mux with spikes above 9.8 mbps), there could be muxing issues, and the most dreaded.. the issues that can result in poorly replicated discs.
I use Cinema Craft on a daily basis and love it, but I still don't go any higher than 7 mbps. This is true with Sonic's SD-2000 as well. This is a personal preference and I have never had any issues. Matter of fact check out the bit rate for "Hollywood" titles, they rarely go above 5 or 6mbps.
My two cents anyhow.
