Hi Nenrad,

Although, it could be some simple formatting and/or authoring mistake why you can't get a DVD+R DL disc to function in players, it wouldn't be a good idea go to replication until you know what's going on, as you surmised. DVD+R DL, properly authored and formatted is very compatible (you're using DVD+R DL and not DVD-R DL, right?).

Once, you succeed at creating a proof disc that plays on some set tops, and while the client is looking at it for approval, then it would be good to talk about the proper way to format it and submit it for replication (The short answer: DDP file set on Windows NTSF formatted Fire wire hard drive would give you and your client the best chance for success on the first submission).
