text and graphics judder

Hi
I'm having issues with the quality output of DVDSP4. I'm using FCP6 and converting from a HDV to SD video using Compressor and bitvice, I've played with settings and tried de-interlacing but they all have the same problems with text and lines. in places the text seems to judder and also looks pixelated, straight lines from graphics and split screen also judder and distort. The image seems less effected and fine after putting a de-interlcing filter on it, but I can't get the text to look clean.
Any help much appreciated
Sri
