problem 2 - that is the way it works, they are auto-activated buttons for set top players but you have to click a computer mouse to activate them, no way around that.

problem 1 - did you resize them before bringing them into DVDSP?

We deal with these issue probably once a week, do a search if you want more info. In short nobody really recommends using layered menus.
