Remove any font, size, color, contrast and fade-in commands from STL file, leaving only time code and text entries. Import this modified file into DVD SP. If your subtitles now appear as defined in preferences your original STL file has information incompatible with your system fonts. For example if STL file lists HelveticaNeue, but your sistem contains Helvetica Neue it will not be imported properly.
