Adding Custom Buttom
by Rob Mize on Feb 26, 2008 at 10:21:12 pm

I've read the manual till my head is swimming with Drop Zones, Overlays, Shapes, etc... and I still cannot add a simple oval highlight as a button. I built my motion menu complete with an Oval with text that reads "Replay". I just want to highlight that oval when activated. I built an oval in photoshop to use on the menu and I can see the oval's shadow - but not the shape itself or the highlight - and I can highlight the entire drop zone.
I've authored many, many DVD's and maybe I've done too much work in other programs like DVLab, DVDit, etc... but it just seems like DVDSP takes a simple task and complicates it 10 fold. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but I've spent an entire day on this!
Many thanks for any help.
