playable ifo-file?

hi everybody.

i'm asked to produce a videofile which plays on a standalone-hd-player (such as the TVIX 5100). it has to be HD with 5.1 sound. several files did not play correcty - i also posted in a special forum for this player - but they told me to produce a .iso or .ifo-file which should play correctly.

now: authoring a hd-dvd with dvdsp 4.1.2 produces .ifo-files but they are way small and not playable. (the whole hd-dvd is not playable by the apple-dvd-player...)

any suggestions?
