Thanks for the feedback.
Here's what I have learned.
DVDSP only creates dvd's with CC that function in the mac environment when the .scc file is formatted as "Pop-on" not "Roll-on."
A company called NCI in LA that created the .scc file for me has had a number of calls in the last month trying to get to the bottom of this issue and I think this is it.
I'll be running a test tonight to confirm and will post my final findings to keep a record of the troubleshoot for the future.
I just thought I'd see if people thought I was on the right track or not.
