Okay, so I'm reporting on the results of my tests to improve the dark video I was getting. Keeping ALL OTHER variables the same, I created the following tests of one of the segments of the video:


CBR normal (no filtering)
CBR with a gamma correction of .9
CBR with a gamma correction of .8
CBR with a gamma correction of .7
BitVice Trial Version

We've tested these on a 42" plasma, a 20" tube tv, and several Macintosh computers (laptops and desktops).I had my colleague (a professional photographer) review the tests, and weigh in on his opinions.

The CBR Normal, and CBR with a Gamma of .9 both looked too dark and saturated on the plasma, but
