I start off both by modifying existing presets (using "Save As" and also making new ones. Both allow me to set the "One Pass," setting but as we've mentioned, one-pass only allows an average setting. So, it's still "Constant Bit Rate baseed on an Average," not "Constant Bitrate to this specific number"

I'd love to upgrade to FCS2, but won't be able to do that for a few months. In the meantime, Compressor 2 and the potential purchase of BitVice are my only opions.

Can anyone familiar with both Compressor and Bitvice weigh in on a comparison of the two?
