I'll look for a 2.1 update of compressor. I seem to recall an issue with installing the "universal Upgrade" tat this was released as part of.

I have not tried to make it 9 mb/s, but I can. To get the bitrate that the files encoded at by simply opening up the M2V file in QuickTime, and reading what it says in the bitrate of the get info dialogue box. Is this not accurate?

The video has a length of 130 minutes, correct. And I'm using 192 AC3 for the audio.

I will need to test the darkness issue on a PC. And yes, I did limited color correction prior to encoding (and unfortunately, I cannot move back on this).
