Hey guys - just ran into this myself. Surprisingly NO info anywhere about it - only questions.
I was able to solve it for my particular project tho - so hope this helps.
For me the problem was that my encode settings on my assets were at one pass, quality 9.
When i set it back down to 7 all was well again. I know most dvd players won't play higher than 7 but I figured I'd try anyway.
This produced the error - although the simulation worked fine and the 9 quality was absolutely superior - ah well..
