Weird issue with HD DVD images & Apple's DVD Player

I've built an HVDVD_TS volume on my hard drive and I can open it up in DVD player on one machine but not on another that is virtually identical. They run the same version of the OS, both up to date on software updates, and both run the same version of DVD Player. I've tried all sorts of tricks, but I can't seem to figure it out. Any suggestions?
