Hey, I've been encoding mpeg2 for some time now and just recently been having problems printing to tape and now encoding mpeg2 files through compressor. I'm getting the "quictime error: 0" message just as discribed in this post and was searching for a solution when I found this post. I do have a dual g5, but haven't had a problem before. Funny I should be having problems with my print to tape function at the same time and maybe a clue. It works for acquiring footage, just doesn't put it back. I've tried my deck and my camera with the same result. On printing to tape, one time I got a message of inconsistant bit rates and suggested I nest my media and which didn't help. Help!
dual g5, 2gighz, 3.5 meg mem, fcp studio 5 and latest tiger.
