What do you mean by [CanadianGuy] "switching the format from DVD 9 to DVD-ROM" ? Using Toast ?

The DVD is, at the basis, a DVD-ROM, using the UDF file system. When you author a DVD-Video, you simply add to the DVD-ROM a folder that meets the DVD-Video Specifications and thus the DVD can be recognized by DVD-Video or DVD-ROM Player.

Not all DVD players support DVD-R DL and some do not support it very well. For now, they serve only for testing DVD-9 project or personal use.
