Thanks for the article link. I've since purchased Verbatim Printable Glossy DVD-Rs online from Staples. Next day delivery, no extra charge, pretty convenient. The printing quality is quite awesome and I've had no problems yet to report. Online reviews also seem very positive re: compatibility, longevity, etc. (http://www.cdfreaks.com/article/268/1). And the MID fits within Aanarav Sareen's (Premiere Pro link above) top recommended - MCC 03RG20.

But... they're made in Taiwan and Sareen's report clearly states that Taiwan made discs are fakes and should be avoided. Huh???
