Hi there,
I'm guessing it's pixelating during scenes of motion or extreme close-up (i.e. fast moving hands). If this is the case, you can do what I did and add i-frame compression markers throughout these trouble areas in the FCP timeline. Just double 'm', add compression marker (don't worry about naming them) - and make sure to export all DVD markers. It works but can be quite time consuming. I have action sequences where I've added compression markers every 2-3 frames. Also, during dissolves. Good luck.
