hi...

I've made a 16 min piece, and then used the quicktime MPEG-2 exporter in final cut pro to create the M2V and AIFF files for DVD autrhoring. i then imported these into a new project in dvd studio pro, and burned it using a 4:3 ratio. my footage was shot 16:9 but i have letterboxed it in a 4:3, 720x480 frame.

now, whenver i play this DVD on a TV here, it seems to eat about 10% of all sides, so my subtitles are often cut on the sides of the text...and other issues. it's not what is supposed to be. it is an NTSC DVD, and i am in the UK where it is PAL, but if i export a PAL version from FCP into DVD studio pro i get the same problem. everything looks fine when i watch the DVD on my powerbook, but as soon as i watch it on a tv, i lose all the edges of the frame...

why is this happening? i can't figure it out. any ideas? i need to deliver this in 24h... (!!!!)

help
thanks
rana
