Button Highlight Discrepancy

Working in DVDSP 3 without .psd overlays for buttons. Using text created in DVDSP as buttons, with colors to identify normal, selected, and activated states. All buttons are the same color scheme.

On Build (one time we burned a copy, a second build was tested in DVD Player), a few of the buttons revert back to colors that were experimented with earlier. Sometimes even when you're selecting one button, another button on the menu will switch colors before playing the track.

We've been comparing the color palettes in Preferences, and on the menus, but can't put our finger on what we've missed.

Any suggestions?
