pre script to wait?

pre script to wait?

i'm trying to get a pre script to tell the player to wait upon entering a track until a button is activated. i tried the pre script "wait infinite" in the inspector, but i tdoesn't seem to be working. is there a trick to it, or an easier way to do this?
