Hi Alberto,

Nowdays standard copy protection schemes on DVD (including Macrovision, CSS and Copy Management) are not worth the trouble and license fees if there is a slightest possibility that your precious disc will fall in the hands of a professional pirate, determined sophisticated user or experienced DVD author.
DeCSS algorithm is available on the Internet for almost 3 years, and so are the tools to circumvent the copy protection. This has nothing to do with DVD SP ability to apply copy protection. It is the fact of life. And you must use DLT if you are determined to have copy protection.
