You're right that Shake should have this type of functionality, but it doesn't in that you're not actually seeing the Rotoshapes' center coordinates in the parameters. But an easy thing to do would be to track your robot face then apply the tracking data to your rotoshape, etc.

(Actually linking expressions are fairly easy. In general use "Node Name"."Parameter" like Move2D.xPan in the target node's xPan parameter...check out chapter 17 in the manual.)
