All 4:2:0 footage tends to show this problem. Of course in your case your are adding the interlace factor which makes things worse. For Chromakey work it's advisable to shoot progressive, especially since the XDCAM is capable of doing that.
Even with progressive footage the 4:2:0 means that chroma is sampled in a square of 2x2 pixels, a lot of the image is probably OK but you get "starsteps" in the shoulder curves and other round or diagonal areas.
Your best option in this case is to feather and/or blur the edge of your matte. Just a dd a bit of blur and everything will improve quite nicely.
