I'm note sure I understand how to use the paint option for this.

I don't want to apply the brush strokes myself. I want a premade animation with alpha to do the full screen reveal. Non-transparent areas of the animation will paint the mask for the logo/text. As the animation progress, more of the mask is filled in, eventually revealing the full logo/text.

I'm looking for something that behaves like trails. As the animation progresses, all previous frames remain visible, eventually the transparent areas are painted away.
