Yes, there are many free tutorials up on the Boris FX web site. You can access them here:

Check out the Graffiti and RED tutorials for title animation. If you need to sync to audio, you can import an audio track and display the (scrubbable) audio histogram for that audio track in the timeline, to which you can animate the text by sliding the starting keyframe of any track.
The Type On Tab (click on the face of any text track and this tab will appear in the controls window) has some wonderful auto-animation features that I think you'll really enjoy working with.
