The Noise Gate (found in both STP and FCP X - it's the same plug-in used in both) will do a pretty good job of clipping out reverb - you might need to play with the settings depending on your program source and what you want to remove/keep.

But be aware that nothing is going to be an entirely perfect solution to a problem like this.
