Re: Revert changes from Soundtrack pro?

Mike - it's almost hard to believe (not that I doubt you!) that your client would go to so much trouble. You might want to cross-post this to the FCP forum to find more learned advice than mine, and that forum sees far more traffic than COW-STP.

Are you familar with replace edits? My thinking is that, clip by clip, you would:

1. mark the clip (playhead on the clip, type"x" to set in and out)
2. go to the head of the clip (arrow up) and set an in-point ("i")
3. hit "f" to find the match frame in the viewer
4. do a replace edit (F11), which would replace the content between edit points with that of the master clip.

CAVEAT: Duplicate the sequence before you try this. Also, run a quick experiment to see if it yields the desired result. At this point I'd be wary if the source media hadn't been pulled in and affected by an unknowing operator. The Producer in me would also be looking to cut my losses at this point ;-)

Again, I'd x-post to the FCP forum. There may be a technique for selecting all and achieving the above, reverting, etc.
