Re: crazy audio

I get driven insane by Soundtrack Pro constantly. The Ripple Training DVD sorted out a nunber of foibles for me. But still I have issues whereby what I play back on the STP timeline is nothing like the exported file. For example only yesterday I was working on something. I had sorted out my levels and all seemed well. Then when I exported the final file it was full of peaks of +8dbfs! Where in the hell did they come from? After the export STP played back the timeline with these peaks. So why didn't it do that before?!

Quite often I feel like I am stabbing in the dark trying to get things done with that program. When working to a deadline it puts the stress levels right into overdrive.
