Semi Professional Audio Monitoring

Hi All,
I am looking into monitoring of 5.1 or even 7.2 audio if I start getting into outputting Blu-Ray discs. At the moment however I am DVD and broadcast only. I was wondering if the Logitech Z-5450 would suite my purposes? I don't want to spend the earth, I only want to be able to design the sound and listen to the output.

Mac OS 10.5.1
2 x 20" Apple Cinema Display
128MB ATI Graphics
