Merge multitrack changes back to FCP?
by Geoffrey Plitt on Jun 25, 2008 at 7:49:35 pm

When I edit one clip at a time in Soundtrack, FCP can automatically replace the old clip with the edited one. It seems to swap out the audio-portion of the DV file and swap in the AIFF of the result from Soundtrack. Great.

But with a Multitrack project, I want to do the same thing. I exported a complex timeline from FCP to Soundtrack, and I'm making changes. Now I want those changed clips to automatically go back and update in FCP. But they don't seem to automatically do that.

Any tips?

Thanks!
