Hello
Please excuse the delay…I have been a bit busy. (an by busy I’m mean a bit lazy…)
My first test with Audacity and others didn’t really work out as I hopped. But I might have been rushing it a bit and will go back and try again later this week.
My current workflow is done from within FCP. However, the only portion that is automated is the batch export at the end. Before that it requires some rather taxing actions:
1) mark out the sections I need to breakdown within a sequence (markers)
2) make the sequence independent
3) create a new bin
4) get the razor tool and turn on snapping and cut on each marker
5) drag each section to the new bin and rename.
6) Export the bin with .wav or .aiff settings
7) You should now have individual audio clips from the sequence: nicely named.
Hmmm…I think I need a new job.
Daniel
