big fish loops dropping notes STP?

Hopefully someone can help here, cause I'm pulling my hair out. Just bought some rock star loops from big fish. Brought in the apple loops files from the dvd, and started looping. Everything was fine in STP until I noticed some notes being dropped out of my song.

Tracked this problem down to changing the key in STP to the same key the loops were in. This is what you want to do, as the loops sound normal when in the proper key. However, for some reason the loop becomes TRUNCATED when it's in its native key. Any suggestions why? I never had this problem in earlier versions of STP. Very dissappointing.

As soon as I change the loop to "NONE" or the "-" key, the beats come back, although the key is off.

I'm using STP 2.02 with Powermac G5 dual 2.3 and Tascam 1082 fw device.
