Crash when importing through Browser

Soundtrack Pro 2.0.1 quits if I try to import files through its own Browser window. I get the message
"An unexpected problem
An uncaught exception"
This was happening under Tiger and continues to be a problem under Leopard.
Dragging a file from the Mac's desktop into Soundtrack Pro will open the file reliably.
Anyone else have this problem? I've reinstalled FinalCut Suite 2, but can try it again. I've repaired disk permissions several times.
Thanks,
Les
