I'm also having the problem. All of FinalCut Suite 2 was working fine until I installed Leopard a few days ago:

While attempting to start Soundtrack Pro:

First, had to go to Pace website for download a copy-protection extension, a first ever (http://www.paceap.com/ilwebdnld4.html)

Did that and restarted my iMac.

Tried to launch Soundtrack Pro again. Got:

"An unexpected problem

NSInvalidArgumentException
*** -[NSCFDictionary initWithObjects:forKeys:count:]:
attempt to insert nil value at Objects[0] (key:
NSCTFontCharacterSetAttribute)

Quit OK"

Soundtrack actually start up, sort of: got same message; some of program worked but could not pull down the Input selector drop-down in Recording tab.

Then, I tried Apple's Motion; it started, but did not display items on its menubar.

Same with DVD Studio Pro and LiveType. My quick check showed them to be working okay, but no menubar displays. Keyboard command-O, command-S, command-Q worked.

I see discussions of people receiving similar error messages related to iSync.

Les
