went into Apple/system preferences/sound/input and selected audio lin in port since my mic does not have USB. I tried talking into it to see if the "sound monitors" would light up and nothing. I tried opening imovie and clicked media and pressed the record button and when reviewing it there is no recording. It's weird because it works on my other PC (not a MAC).
