We received our Apple 4GBit FC 2-port card and have done some testing: Initial results indicate that the copper cables are still unreliable, and that optical cables (using 4GBit SFPs) still work reliably. There is some mention on Apple's site about "Active" Copper cables -- the ones received appear to be no different than the ones which came with the 2GBit cards.
