Hello Mark,

this problem has been solved by updating the firmware in the array.

Your 4110 has a V2 controller featuring an integrated hub for expansion. The firmware n1b was initially installed in the unit but having upgraded firmware to n2a this problem has been cured.

For some reason with old firmware reports the two Luns of the 4110 twice. The 4110 should only report two Luns.

Your dealer Trigital have been a great help in resolving this. Having collected the array from you they tested the array with old firmware and confirmed bug, updated the firmware, and retested the array to confirm that bug has been cured. Thanks Trigital.

It would appear that the bug is specific to certain configurations as on our test system during QA the array reported only two Luns. We test every fault tolerant array upon delivery and ensure when they are dispatched from here they have the latest firmware. It would appear that new firmware was released between dispatch of product to Trigital and installation.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused you.

Best regards

Garry
