Importing into Encore reduces quality
by James Owens on Nov 3, 2009 at 2:34:31 am

I'm a film student and all year I’ve had the same work flow:

1) Export clips from After Effects as QT movies using the 'Animation' codec (I don’t have Dynamic Link)
2) Import into Encore to build DVD

and everything's been fine until now, when my assignment is due of cause.

What's happening is now when I import my clips into Encore, the quality dramatically reduces to a point where it's unusable.
I've tried exporting from AE with the Sorenson codec (and some others but I don’t remember) with the same results: rubbish quality.
My composition settings are: D1/DV PAL, 4:3.

I can't figure out how to stop this from happening, can you help?
