burn and crash

Hi:
Looking for advice--using Encore 2.0 and have created DVD and all is fine--no errors in project, etc.--and when I go to burn dvd, Encore gets all the way to writing it and midway, just completely freezes and it either cancels itself or I have to cancel the build. I'm using the new Memorex DVD+R 16x and I've tried different burn rates (4,8,16) and it did the same thing for each...Is this a driver issue? An Encore issue? A human issue? A couple of times, a screen popped up saying something about a source code error/hardware malfunction, but since this wasn't a consisitent pop up, not sure what to make of that...Anyway, I hope this all made since and I'd appreciate any feedback/advice...Thanks,
JHST
