Re: How do I make buttons invisible until selected?

Well I got them to appear invisible just by changing the normal color to black which blends with my black background.

But I have these buttons loop at 6 seconds. ANd for some reason it shows the buttons (which are white as made in photoshop) as white from 0-6 seconds then when they get to their loop point the first one is highlighted and the rest disppear (turn black, normal state).

So how can I make it so you can't see the buttons before the loop point? I tried making black buttons in photoshop but then the subpicture highlight is real pixelated looking on the edges, where as a white button edges are smooth when highlighted.

ANy ideas?
